Working with oil on canvas is like an expression of intuitive energy for me.
Paintings arise as it were just "naturally" and it is not pre-decided what to paint.
The outcome of such art can be simple but it can also be complex in the direction of abstract art containing recognizable elements.
This fantasy is like a discovery to me. It is always exciting and surprising what the end result will be. You could also speak of making the subconscious visible.
